OPAL Self-Encrypting Drives

We initially had a goal of encrypting all of our laptop hard drives to prevent data theft in the event a laptop or hard drive was stolen from our company.  We began looking into OPAL SED’s.  We do not want our end-users having to enter a pre-boot or hard drive password before they get to their Windows login screen.  What we do want is to keep the data on the drive encrypted should the drive be removed from the laptop.
